The Housekeeper/Turn Support role ensures clean, safe, and welcoming living and common spaces throughout the community. This position focuses on unit and bedspace turnovers after move‑outs and daily cleaning of amenities, office areas, models, hallways, stairwells, elevators, and other shared spaces. The role works with Maintenance and Operations teams to guarantee smooth move‑ins and maintain the community’s appearance.
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager, the employee coordinates daily priorities and turn schedules, communicating any safety or maintenance concerns. Responsibilities include cleaning units and bedspaces after move‑outs, preparing them for new occupants, restocking supplies, and reporting damages. The role also maintains common areas—amenities, leasing office, hallways, stairwells, elevators, and restrooms—through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, and periodic deep cleaning. Additional duties involve managing trash rooms, maintaining cleaning logs, and providing weekend or afternoon coverage as needed.
Successful candidates demonstrate strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Preferred experience includes housekeeping, hotel, janitorial, or turn work, and candidates must be able to follow safety instructions and manage time in a fast‑paced environment. Availability for weekends or overtime and willingness to work indoors and outdoors are required.
The position requires a high school education or up to six months of related experience, with prior cleaning or turn experience preferred. A valid driver’s license with proof of insurance may be needed for site operations. Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, lifting over 10 lb, and repetitive motions while working in occupied and vacant units.
