The Test Technician I position is a full‑time role located in Phoenix‑Tempe, AZ. The technician assists Test Engineers in environmental simulation and climatic testing chambers, follows established test procedures, and possesses a basic understanding of the equipment used for testing.
Key responsibilities include helping set up projects and perform tests, maintaining laboratory equipment, updating chemical and equipment inventories, and traveling to job sites while working varying shifts. The role also involves completing other duties as assigned to support testing operations.
Candidates must have a High School diploma or an AA in Science and 0‑2 years of experience in a material testing laboratory environment. Required skills include basic problem‑solving, assembly, organization, and a working knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices, ISO lab standards, and safety procedures.
Work is primarily performed in a lab setting and requires physical activities such as standing, walking, manual handling, and occasional lifting of objects up to 55 lb, along with various vision abilities.
