Create accurate and detailed inspection reports.
Observe work procedures and verify compliance with job specifications.
Accurately perform inspections on soil, concrete, steel, masonry, deep foundations, exterior insulation and finish system (EIFS), and fireproofing for various industrial, commercial, residential or municipality projects in accordance with applicable standards.
Interact and communicate with general contractors, site supervisors, architects, structural engineers, and client representatives.
Read and interpret design drawings and construction specifications.

Must have the ability to bend, stoop, kneel and twist, use hands to grasp and arms to reach, raise hands above head, sit, climb and balance, and work in confined spaces and heights.
Ability to obtain and/or maintain ACI, ICC, and NCDOT certifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
NCDOT Certifications
Must be able to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 90 pounds on occasion.
ICC Structural Steel and Bolting
3+ years of experience performing testing and inspections.

ICC Spray-Applied Fireproofing
ACI / NCDOT Concrete Field Technician Level 1
Ability to pass a post-offer fit for duty test
Minimum Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Proficient in the use of iPads, Microsoft Office, email, and Dropbox.
Must be able to walk over rough and uneven terrain and be able to stand up to 8 hours on a normal day and up to 12 hours on occasion. A valid driver's license and ability to drive
Working knowledge of mathematics, including algebra, geometry, and trigonometry, and ability to apply mathematical formulas and engineering principles to determine field adjustments.
Ability to work independently, use own judgment, and make decisions.
