Manage development of equipment in cities and states within the region. Knowledge of the mechanics of equipment ranging from as large as a crane to as small as a chainsaw. Work safely while performing repairs or maintenance in a garage and in the field in various weather conditions.
Troubleshoot equipment repair, maintenance, and deployment in various localities. Frequently work around energized high‑voltage systems, requiring skill and care to protect lives. Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools in good working order.
Candidates must have 1–5 years of mechanical experience, be able to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License, and own general tools. The role requires rigorous physical labor, the ability to lift over 50 lb, and willingness to work overtime when requested.
Must be able to learn or perform work in hydraulics, diesel/gas engines (automatic), chassis and suspension, welding/metal fabrication, and small tool repair. Proficiency with computer systems for diagnostics, equipment inventory management, and work orders is required. Preferred certifications include ASE, Ford or international certifications, Altec/Telelect, and hydraulic maintenance. Ability to work extended periods across various locations is essential.
