To manage and support all commercial aspects of development-funded and forward-sold construction projects, ensuring accurate financial reporting, funding compliance, and effective stakeholder liaison from project inception through to practical completion.
- Act as the main point of contact for funders, project monitors, and valuers throughout the lifecycle of development-funded projects.
- Liaise with development funders and their appointed monitors to provide accurate and timely submission of funding information and supporting documentation, including valuation drawdown schedules.
- Provide commercial oversight across active projects, identifying risks and working with internal departments to drive timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Work closely with clients and their monitors to agree on valuations and ensure submission of required supporting documentation specific to each stakeholder’s requirements.
- Support the procurement process by helping identify and invite alternative suppliers and subcontractors to tender.
- Establish and manage drawdown and invoicing schedules for funded or forward-sold projects, in collaboration with the Director of Corporate Finance.
- Ensure all sites have Latent Defects Insurance (LDI) in place and proactively manage tracker clearance at the earliest opportunity.

- Strong understanding of development funding mechanisms and processes.
- Proven experience in a commercial management role within the construction or property development sector.
- Experience working on projects from initial funding through to practical completion.
- Ability to identify commercial risks and contribute to strategic planning and mitigation.
- Strong financial acumen and attention to detail, particularly in drawdown scheduling and valuation processes.
- Familiarity with funded developments and forward-sold project structures.
- Knowledge of construction contracts and cost control procedures.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience liaising with funders, clients, and third-party monitors.
