- Meet with homeowners to discuss the survey process, answer questions, and review equipment locations. Through clear and professional communication, ensure customer satisfaction and build trust.
- Review the electrical infrastructure of the home, including the main service panel, breakers, and grounding systems.
- Examine the structural integrity of the roof and overall building. Report on any structural concerns that may require additional analysis or remediation.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while on site. Ensure that all equipment is handled safely and that work complies with local codes and regulations.
- Identify potential challenges during the survey process, such as shading, roof angle limitations, or electrical compatibility issues. Work with the design and engineering teams to develop solutions.
- Perform thorough, on-site surveys for residential and commercial properties to assess the feasibility of solar installation. This includes evaluating roof space, shading, orientation, tilt, and potential obstructions such as trees, vents, chimneys, and other structural elements.
- Use various tools to accurately measure roof dimensions, pitch, and angles. Document electrical panel details, and meter locations.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to work at heights and on roofs.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 75 lbs
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Familiarity with roof types, pitch, and materials.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Technical certification in solar installation, electrical work, or a related field is a plus.
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
- Valid drivers license
- Previous experience in solar energy, construction, electrical work, or a related field preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, Fast learner, and capable of executing multiple projects and objectives
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions and on uneven terrain. ? Soft Skills:
- OSHA or safety certification is required.
- Working knowledge of Solar (2 years minimum)
- Knowledge of solar energy systems, electrical components, and residential construction is a plus.

- Occasional travel out of town or out of state may be required. A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are mandatory.
- Experience in site surveying in the Solar industry
