- Bending at the waist, kneeling or crouching, squatting, crawling; heights, ascend/descend ladder, climb or balance, confined spaces.
- Knowledge of plumbing codes, safety regulations, and safety practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic mathematics and conversion of measurements
- Familiarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper
- Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of the mechanical operation of equipment such as pumps, boilers, water heaters, and other plumbing components
- Ability to read plans, drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirements and sequence of repairs and/or installations
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Sitting, standing and/or walking for extended periods of time.
- Ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted
- Workers must be punctual and reliable
- Ability to do physical labor including lifting associated with profession
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade
- Ability to work in all weather
