The Senior Project Consultant will oversee end‑to‑end management of customer asset relocation requirements and complex work in the vicinity of company assets, engaging with customers, negotiating contracts, and building strong, enduring relationships to ensure exceptional satisfaction.
In this dynamic role, you will also identify and capitalise on new revenue opportunities within the customer base, supporting major client, government and community development projects.
- Apply rational, well‑thought‑out approaches to complex relocation challenges.
- Negotiate and manage contractual arrangements, balancing technical and commercial risk.
- Ensure only appropriate costs are passed to customers per contracts and the Electricity Networks Access Code.
- Identify and implement continuous‑improvement solutions for line‑relocation processes.
- Provide guidance to Relocation Sponsors for effective business outcomes.
- Meet legal and regulatory compliance obligations.
- Achieve commercial and financial recovery, including project reconciliation.
- Review customer contracts to identify risks and minimise Western Power’s exposure.

- Tertiary qualification in a commercial or business discipline.
- Advanced influencing, communication and interpersonal skills with account‑management experience.
- Experience in consultative selling to sophisticated customers.
- Proven contract and financial management/negotiation experience.

- Strong senior‑level internal and external relationship building.
- Capability to challenge the status quo.
- Solid background in the customer service industry.
