Join Cushman & Wakefield’s Project & Development Services team as an Assistant Project Manager, where you will help deliver high-quality commercial fit-outs, refurbishments and construction projects for a diverse client base across Australia. Working closely with senior Project Managers, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders, you will support project planning, coordination and execution to ensure timely, on-budget delivery to the highest standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity to advance your project-management career within a supportive, high-performing environment.
Key responsibilities include assisting with project planning and programming, coordinating with contractors, consultants and internal teams, and supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial tracking. You will monitor project schedules using tools such as MS Project, report progress, and identify risks or delays. Preparation of reports, presentations and documentation for clients and internal stakeholders, as well as maintaining compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards, are also essential.
The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience in construction or client-side project management and holds a tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field. Strong organisational and stakeholder-engagement skills, proficiency with MS Project or Procore, and excellent communication and time-management abilities are required. You should be motivated, collaborative and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Cushman & Wakefield offers a global platform with career development and a promote-from-within culture, alongside a strong commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. Employees benefit from flexible, technology-driven work arrangements, continuous learning opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits programme. The firm prioritises work-life balance, safety, and celebrates inclusive causes throughout the year.
