Key responsibilities involve performing initial setup and commissioning of JACE controllers, configuring Niagara 4 environments, and developing custom GUIs on Tridium Servers. The position also requires troubleshooting communication issues, collaborating with engineering and field teams, documenting procedures, and providing training to end users and facility managers.
The role focuses on the startup, configuration, and commissioning of JACE Niagara controllers and Tridium Server graphics environments. Candidates must be proficient in deploying Niagara Framework‑based systems and integrating building automation protocols such as BACnet and Modbus.
Required skills include a strong understanding of Niagara Framework architecture and JACE hardware platforms (e.g., JACE 8000, JACE 9000, JCI FX‑90), as well as experience with Niagara Workbench tools for programming, graphics development, and diagnostics. Familiarity with Tridium Server deployment and Level 1/Level 2 certification is preferred.
A bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least three years of relevant experience are required. Candidates should have knowledge of construction or HVAC, control theory, building automation subsystems, and low‑voltage integration protocols such as LON and BACnet, and be able to translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
