What you would be doing
survey lead

Moving heavy items including inspection chamber covers.
Ensure compliance with quality standards.
Lead and support survey projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope.
Identify and escalate operational, safety, and commercial risks.
Comply with company procedures, including safe driving practices.
Follow technical guidelines to produce quality-controlled survey deliverables.
Engage with the public, team members, and clients.
Collaborate with Senior Surveyors and Survey Managers.
Execute supervised and unsupervised work, following risk assessments.

Adhere to safe working practices in various environments.
Please note mandatory drugs and alcohol tests are undertaken for this role and a DBS check will be undertaken.
Willingness to undergo regular drug and alcohol testing. Flexibility in working hours and good time management.
Qualifications: QCF Level 3 in Utility Mapping/Surveying or relevant HNC/Diploma, or proven experience.
A proactive, problem-solving approach with a willingness to learn.
Working in all weather conditions (this could include night work also).
Expertise in PAS128 standards.
Proficiency in using surveying equipment (Electromagnetic, Ground Penetrating Radar) and software (AutoCAD, Microsoft Office).
Full UK driving licence
CoStrong written and verbal English skills.
You may be required to work in confined spaces and on highways.
