Taking part in pre-commissioning meetings, commissioning planning activities and documentation preparation (e.g. FAT documentation, Site ITPs & ITRs, Method Statements, Control programs, etc.).
Establishing long-term customer relationships by understanding customer requirements and applicable regulations, respond immediately to issues and demonstrate in-depth technical service product/solutions knowledge to promote product Life Cycle Management.
Creating service reports, time sheets & delivery notes, endorsed by customers.
Acting as representative of the OEM during interaction with the customer and preparing the tools, equipment and parts needed for a service job and understanding the scope of the job to be performed.
Carrying out Installation & Commissioning, extension and Maintenance services independently.
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Recommending customers for immediate and future service requirements, provide feedback to Service Sales team.
You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Providing on-site or remote technical support for installation and commissioning of GIS and routine maintenance services, identifying technical problems and making analysis through remote or on-site activity in different Service categories.
Participating in the planning and execution of installation and commissioning activities on-site. Executing design modifications for commissioning and offering annotations for as-built project documentation.
Supporting tendering by providing commissioning plans and time/cost estimation.
Ensuring that documentation for the job is available and briefing with service manager, head of department or supervisor about the expected situation on site.
Effectively managing multifunctional interfaces - internal, feeder factories, service department, customers, and sub suppliers and abilities to show personal leadership & maintain a teamwork environment to deliver assignments. Strong self-disciplined approach to ensure quality and accuracy of delivery.
Responsible for adherence to the quality assurance requirements on the Power Plant or Substation or Oil & Gas or process Industries site and seeks to improve these continually.

Proficiency in both spoken & written English is required.
Solid understanding of switchgear testing and commissioning and other key substation apparatus.
Minimum 10 years of overall experience, with 6–8 years in High Voltage Equipment installation, testing, commissioning, repair, and maintenance. Proven expertise in Transmission GIS Installation & Commissioning, including substation services and preventive maintenance.
Fluency in Arabic is a plus.
Certification in Hitachi Energy GIS products is a strong advantage.
Having a strong knowledge of High Voltage Products Services & Service portfolios
Experience across the full lifecycle of substation projects—tendering, engineering, and site commissioning. Proficiency in computer applications and strong interpersonal communication skills.
A bachelor’s degree or Diploma in engineering field is required.
