Planning and oversight of field studies including the collection of soil, groundwater, surface water, and indoor air samples.
Oversight of monitoring well installation and well logging.
Preparation of cost estimates and work plans.
Interpretation of sample data and preparation of data summary reports.

Writing and technical review of reports to clients and regulators.
Wear a full-face respirator and complete annual medical monitoring program, including pulmonary function testing.

Previous technical review experience and experience at EPA Superfund sites is preferred.
B.A. or B.S. degree in Geology or Geological Engineering is required.
Possess strong analytical, organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal).
Highly motivated, customer focused and work well in a team environment.
The position will require extensive outdoor work as well as overnight travel.
Completion of 40-Hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) training and current 8-hour HAZWOPER refresher training are required to perform this work. If the successful candidate does not already possess this training, Tetra Tech will provide training prior to initiating regular work duties in the field.
Licensure as a professional geologist (PG) or registered geologist (RG) is preferred but not required.
Extensive report writing experience and some project management experience.
Drive on a regular basis. Passing a motor vehicle record background check and maintaining a valid driver's license and good driving record is required.
