Join the Macmahon Underground Maintenance team as an Experienced Underground Shift Electrician, responsible for electrical diagnosis, repair, testing and servicing of site electrical and electronic systems. Candidates must have at least two years of relevant experience, preferably in an underground mining environment, and hold a valid WA Electrical Workers Licence. Essential certifications include low‑voltage switchboard rescue, CPR, and a manual C class driver’s licence; additional qualifications such as HV switching, Working at Heights, Dangerous Goods Security Card and First Aid are highly desired. A thorough knowledge of underground mining safety regulations, consistent attendance, punctuality and clear, respectful communication are also required.
Successful applicants must pass a pre‑employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening, as well as criminal history and qualification checks. Proof of Australian working rights, such as a valid passport or visa, is also required.
The role can be FIFO from Perth or Kalgoorlie, DIDO, or residential with even‑time rosters covering days and nights. It is a full‑time permanent position with great camp facilities and a values‑based culture that promotes equal opportunity career progression.
