In this senior engineering role you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide systems‑level guidance for subsea projects, supporting the transition from concept through execution while ensuring alignment with cost, schedule, quality and safety objectives.
- Lead front‑end subsea engineering studies and field‑development trade‑off analyses.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers and drive data‑driven decision making.
- Develop and optimize subsea system concepts across the full lifecycle, from feasibility to decommissioning.
- Manage interfaces with global product teams, delivery partners and clients, ensuring quality compliance.
- Liaise with customers to clarify requirements, support early engagement and assist commercial activities.
- Contribute to tendering, detailed engineering, execution phases and proposal preparation as a technical reviewer or lead.
- Represent Baker Hughes at external events to promote new technologies and enhance internal systems‑engineering capability.

The position requires an engineering degree and proven experience in subsea or offshore environments, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and familiarity with systems‑engineering and project‑management frameworks such as INCOSE, AACE, APM or PRINCE2.
- Hold a master’s or bachelor’s degree with experience in oil & gas operations, subsea equipment, SURF or offshore renewables.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills and broad knowledge of systems engineering and project management processes.
- Possess multidisciplinary project‑engineering experience designing solutions for field architecture, flow assurance, SPS, risers, pipelines, controls, constructability and installation.
- Be willing to travel internationally for customer meetings, project needs and short‑term assignments.
