• Reviewing project plans, drawings, and specifications
• Collaborating with the team on real-time project opportunities
• Assisting with cost estimates and bid documentation
• Organizing subcontractor and vendor quotes

Requirements

Opatril Concrete Construction Inc. is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Estimating Assistant Intern to join our team for the upcoming internship cycle & concrete Season. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in construction estimating and project planning at a company with over 50 years of excellence in cast-in-place concrete construction.

• Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting, Architecture, or a related field at MSUM, NDSU, Concordia College, M-State or NDSCS.
• Exposure to real-world construction projects and industry-standard tools
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and holds a valid driver’s license
• Someone who's willing to work with us for the length of the concrete season (February-November).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with data
• Familiar with or eager to learn Bluebeam Revu
