Support the delivery of structural engineering projects from concept through construction.
-Conduct field work, including site verifications, assessments, and troubleshooting. -Deliver timely, reliable, and courteous service -Collaborate with senior engineers to plan project layouts and integrate structural elements into cohesive designs. -Perform comprehensive computer-aided and manual structural design calculations in accordance with applicable building and material codes, ensuring precision and attention to detail throughout all phases of the project. -Support the development and maintenance of engineering standards. -Conduct peer reviews, and prepare reports on findings. -Prepare and oversee the development of structural models, calculation packages, construction documents, and specifications. -Lead and coordinate structural engineering projects as Engineer of Record (EOR), when assigned. -Perform construction administration duties, including periodic site visits to ensure compliance with design intent. -Participate in internal and external project meetings, coordinating with other disciplines. -Mentor team members in the use of structural calculation software and assist with task organization. -Participate in the team’s quality assurance and quality control processes.
-Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills -5+ years of experience in a structural engineering role -Proficiency in Revit -Ability to manage multiple priorities and provide technical guidance to team members -Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program -Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
