- Assists Project team with project cost/change controls and project budget and accounting records for construction.
- Oversees project construction, general contractors, and clientdirect trades to assure a high level of quality and safety.
- Conducts ‘stand down’ meetings with contractors if a safety violation is found.
- Assists Project team with schedule updates, construction invoices, and submittals.
- Walk down and review jobsite conditions including customer meetings, as needed.
- Provides installation technical support to Project Managers.
- Supports construction and documentation to align with project documents and good engineering practices.
- Will facilitate the development of change orders by requesting through trades and engineering. CM is not an estimator and will not independently develop change order requests on behalf of trades.Able to identify field interferences with associated costs.
- Provides information from field reports to support progress forecasting.Assists in managing and reviewing the progress of contractors' construction schedules.
- Reviews weekly and monthly reports on the status and progress of the contracts including project costs and potential changes.
- Assists project manager in bid walks with contractors in the field for budgetary and firm proposals. Respond to RFIs (requests for information) in a timely manner.
- Performs change order estimating and assists the Project Manager in change order negotiations.
- Assists in managing and reviewing the progress of contractors' construction schedules.
- Supervises Daily Timesheets from construction contractors.
- Directly involved in daytoday site activities. Assists Project team with schedule updates, construction invoices, and submittals.
- Creates and reviews Requests for Information (RFIs) and Change Orders.
- Reads and interprets P&IDs, layouts, and process flow diagrams.
- Supports lookahead schedule planning with construction contractors. Reviews weekly and monthly reports on the status and progress of the contracts including project costs and potential changes.
- Verifies that all work is performed in accordance with approved manuals and procedures based on client site CPMP processes.
- Supports Project Manager on scope management activities and estimated level of effort for out ofscope tasks. Walk down and review jobsite conditions including customer meetings, as needed.
- Reviews Daily Construction Reports (DCR) submitted by each contractor on site every single day. Performs change order estimating and assists the Project Manager in change order negotiations.
