Experience with Microsoft office programs, VISIO, and other common computer programs.
Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience .
Experience using Civil3D.
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
Prior experience working with government agencies, preferably the Department of Defense.
Must have completed a minimum of 4 years of active-duty military service in the United States Armed Forces, with an honorable discharge.
MS degree in Civil or related Engineering, from an accredited university.
Relevant experience includes related specifications.
Experience in complex excavation approaches and construction execution, field experience is preferred.
Knowledge of industry and regulatory guides, codes, and standards, as well as Bechtel Corporate guides and standards.
Registered Professional Engineer in USA (Civil Engineering).
Engineer-in-training (EIT) or Registered Profession Engineer (P.E.) or ability to be obtained within 12 months.
Ability to utilize office automation tools effectively.
Design experience with Unified Facilities Criteria and the Whole Building Design Guide.
Experience with use or knowledge of Revit and/or InRoads. Intermediate knowledge of developing CSI Masterformat specifications, or Specslntact.
Broad knowledge of the application of Civil engineering design principles.
Experience working with procedures meeting quality assurance programs such as ISO-9000.
