Team Lead - Aviation

Description

AECOM sets the pace for airport and aviation development programs globally, delivering end‑to‑end services from master planning and program definition through design, construction and project close‑out to ensure successful outcomes.

• Develop and execute a business development strategy to win aviation work across Queensland.
• Cultivate long‑lasting relationships with commercial airport operators and defence airfield stakeholders.
• Lead preparation of high‑quality proposals, tenders and expressions of interest for aviation projects.
• Take overall responsibility for profitable delivery of complex aviation projects, on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with civil, electrical and structural discipline leads to integrate multi‑disciplinary inputs.
• Provide technical expertise and project oversight for aviation projects delivered by other ANZ offices.
• Drive technical excellence across the ANZ Aviation portfolio and participate in the Global Aviation Technical Academy.

Requirements

• 15+ years experience in airside infrastructure and aviation pavement design and assessment.
• Proven experience working with commercial airport clients and/or defence sector (ADF/NZDF).
• Demonstrated leadership in mentoring and managing technical project delivery teams.
• Relevant engineering or aviation management degree; chartered accreditation (e.g., RPEQ) desirable.
• Strong knowledge of CASA, FAA, IATA and ICAO standards and guidelines.
