  • Must wear the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required for this position and different jobsite environments.
  • Assist Project Manager with ordering and tracking delivery for all control hardware.
  • Work closely with the mechanical engineering group to ensure the electrical and mechanical design function together.
  • Including: the writing of User/Maintenance manuals and compiling OEM equipment documentation used on a project.
  • Create and compile turn over packages.
  • Create panel layouts.
  • Support system startups.
  • Specify the controls hardware for a giving project. a. Including: PLC selection, HMI Selection, Safety System hardware, vision systems, sensor, etc.
  • Operates office machinery including computers, fax machine, calculator, and photocopier.
  • Create the schematic prints for an automated system.
  • Create Submittals for each control hardware components.

  • Must be able to complete job duties proficiently while adapting to changing demands and priorities
  • Proficiency in use of MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Ability to apply a logical approach to developing electrical schematics and panel layouts
  • Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
  • Ability to complete daily tasks with limited supervision and minimal errors requiring re-work
  • Induction Motors, Linear & Servo Motors
  • Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
  • Motor Starters
  • Ability to deal with difficult people
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • Ability to apply engineering principals to solve complex problems
  • Regular attendance and punctuality are essential for employee job performance.
  • Must have the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and concentrate for long periods of time to perform duties in a safe manner
  • Working Knowledge of “Low” Voltage Equipment & Control Circuits (24VDC / 120VAC)
  • Requires manual dexterity for office machine operation including computer and calculator, stooping, bending to handle files and supplies, and mobility to complete errands or deliveries.
  • Variable Frequency & Servo Drives
  • Human Machine Interfaces (HMI)
  • Work performed in office environment. Involves frequent contact with other employees. May require working under stressful conditions.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with other employees
  • CAD experience (AutoCad Electrical Preferred)
  • Experience with servo motion control, preferred
  • A current valid driver’s license is required
  • Must be able to occasionally lift and/or carry/move up to 20lbs
  • Industrial Network Experience
  • Familiarity with ABB/Fanuc robots, preferred
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Working Knowledge of “High” Voltage Equipment & Circuits (230-1000 VAC/DC)
