Comprehensive experience with determining geotechnical engineering properties of soil/rock, geotechnical analyses including slope stability, settlement, and soil/structure interaction, and development of appropriate foundation and site-related geotechnical recommendations
Dam safety engineering, seepage analyses, and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling related to dams is a plus.
Familiar with geotechnical aspects of Building Codes and Design Manuals.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
MS Degree with a concentration in Geotechnical Engineering is preferred.
Experience with geotechnical field investigations, construction observation, determining geotechnical engineering properties of soil/rock
AutoCAD experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Field experience associated with subsurface investigations and foundation construction is required.
MA and other NE state P.E. license(s) or ability to obtain within one year.
Dam safety experience is a plus
Highly motivated, responsible, dedicated, and dependable
