R&D Engineer

Description

• Ensure that all designs comply with industry standards and best practices for safety and efficiency.
• Define and validate material requirements, oversee creation of Material Master Data, and ensure accurate Bills of Materials for all product designs.
• Develop and optimize mechanical designs (2D and 3D) for Low Voltage Enclosures, driving innovation and ensuring compliance with technical specifications.
• Lead and actively contribute to R&D projects, ensuring alignment with Agile methodologies and project objectives.
• Participate in testing and validation processes to ensure that enclosure components meet performance specifications

Requirements

• Proven ability to work under pressure with adaptability, proactive problem-solving, and a strong sense of ownership for delivering results.
• Demonstrated experience in leading tasks and collaborating effectively within dynamic, cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken. Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools for documentation and reporting.
• You hold Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in 2D/3D CAD design; experience with Catia V5 and Creo 8.0 (including sheet metal package) of at least 2/3 years.
