You will join a multidisciplinary team and support clients on projects covering architectural, process, HVAC, mechanical, electrical, commissioning, validation, and construction management services across industrial and pharmaceutical sectors. The role involves designing electrical power, instrumentation, and building services, creating schematic diagrams, protection schemes, semiconductor tool install packages, and maintaining utility services matrices and databases. You will also perform design calculations for cable‑sizing, short‑circuit, lighting, power balance, and arc‑flash studies.
Accepted degrees are Level 7 Electrical Engineering and above. You will be working towards a relevant degree and demonstrate typical Arcadian skills such as resilience, creativity, analytical thinking, and teamwork. Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and consult stakeholders are essential, as is a willingness to travel and stay away from home when required, with virtual working options available.
Our Intern & Placement programme provides a hands‑on insight into the work we do and helps develop skills and knowledge within your chosen field. Supported by signposted training and built on Arcadis’ core values, you will receive technical training and personal development while working on real projects and with clients for 10–12 weeks or a 12‑month placement.
