Candidates with prior work or volunteer experience and basic computer skills are considered. Preferred applicants have warehouse or distribution‑center experience, familiarity with material‑handling equipment such as forklifts or reach trucks, and the ability to follow written standard work procedures.
The hiring process includes an initial phone screen, an online assessment, and on‑site interviews for qualified candidates. Successful applicants must pass background, drug and alcohol, and medical screenings before employment.
The role requires frequent lifting of up to 35 lb (or 70 lb as a team lift), bending, squatting and walking for extended periods, as well as consistent use of required PPE and the ability to work overtime. - Previous work or volunteer experience.
- Basic computer experience.
- Previous distribution center, warehouse, and/or order filling experience.
- Experience with the operation of material handling equipment such as forklift, swing reach, order picker, cherry picker, etc.
- Experience working with written instructions for a given task such as Standard Work or Standard Operating Procedures.
- 2nd Shift (specific shift hours depend upon placement).
- Applicants that have passed the phone screen will be sent an online assessment that can be taken from a phone or computer.
- On‑site interviews will be scheduled for candidates that pass the phone screen and the online assessment.
- Frequently bending, reaching and squatting while performing tasks.
- Consistent usage of required PPE for task being performed.
- Walk, squat, and bend over for intervals of 15–30 minutes, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to work overtime when required.
- Must be able to cross reference material to documentation for verification.
- Drug & Alcohol Screening.
