Conduct interviews, gather evidence, and assist with root cause analysis.
Reinforce monthly safety focus topics, critical procedures, and new or updated policies.
Support crews and leadership during safety audits, inspections, and customer reviews.
Committed to coaching and mentoring field employees, not just compliance enforcement.
Promote a culture of safety ownership and accountability at all levels.
Support implementation of new safety initiatives, programs, and corrective actions.
Verify compliance with OSHA, DOT, customer requirements, and internal safety policies.
Document all observations and audits per company expectations.
Recognize and document good catches, near misses, and leading indicators.

Able to build trust with crews while holding high expectations for safety performance.
Ability to travel extensively within assigned region.
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, industry safety practices, and utility safety policies.
Basic proficiency with mobile documentation tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
Minimum 8 years of experience working in the high-power electrical distribution industry.
Safety certifications such as OSHA 500, CSHO, CUSP, or equivalent are preferred.
Effective communicator with demonstrated leadership in field environments.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a safety-related role (Safety Representative, Foreman with safety responsibilities, etc.) is preferred.
