The Scheduler will maintain close working relationships with the Project Team to ensure that they meet or exceed Project Controls standards. This hands‑on role provides the opportunity to directly interface with estimating, design, and construction teams to manage quantity, cost, and schedule throughout the project lifecycle.
The Scheduler prepares Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules, leverages historical and forecast data for realistic planning, and develops a solid understanding of project scopes and contracts. They communicate with owners to ensure satisfaction, analyze delays to mitigate risk, and keep project teams informed of schedule‑related risks. The role also provides oversight on contract notices, prepares fee proposals and RFP responses, documents schedule assumptions, conducts monthly audits, trains staff on scheduling software, and fosters an inclusive work environment.
Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture or a related field, 3‑8 years of relevant experience or an equivalent education‑experience mix, knowledge of Earned Value Management, and proficiency with document‑control tools (Bluebeam, Procore, Microsoft Office) and scheduling software such as Primavera 6 or MS Project.
Compensation consists of base pay plus a discretionary bonus tied to company and individual performance.
