- Compile accurate and detailed data, reports, and laboratory analyses
- Keep work areas orderly and assigned equipment clean and in good working order

- Use correct techniques and materials in accordance with industry standards, (e.g., ASTM, AASHTO)

- Attend or complete weekly safety meetings or topics
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance along with polite and respectful behavior
- Maintain routine laboratory instruments and testing equipment according to manufacturer's instructions and relevant ASTM standards
