Project Control Manager

Description

• Set up and manage project controls capability for major projects, including people, procedures and systems.
• Interpret monthly data to support senior leadership decision‑making.
• Establish and manage the Performance Measurement Baseline and collate KPI and progress data for time, cost, risk and quality.
• Implement effective project governance, processes and systems throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate the project controls function across the supply chain.
• Integrate schedule, cost, risk, quality and reporting disciplines.
• Ensure data assurance and compliance with PMO policies, processes and standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Programme/Project Controls Manager on large, complex construction projects.
• Ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships at all levels.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Facilitation experience for multi‑stakeholder workshops to identify and mitigate issues.
• Experience managing and integrating risk, planning, cost change control, document control and reporting teams.
• Experience leading teams of highly skilled specialists.
• Experience with project controls systems.
• Professional project management qualification (desirable).

CMR is hiring a Project Controls Manager on a full‑time, remote‑flexible basis (two days remote, three days in Milton Keynes) with an immediate start and a salary ranging from £50,000 to £70,000.
