Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting and accounts payable teams
Establish, document, and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and procedures
Analyze financial data and presents financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicates monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; monitors progress and changes and keeps executives abreast of ForeFront Power’s financial status
Oversee audit activities of ForeFront Power and its affiliates
Ensure compliance with all finance-related agreements with our partners, investors and lenders
Ensure an accurate and timely month, and quarterly and year end close, including timely and documented review of draft reports
Lead and manage the accounting and accounts payable staff, ensuring a high level of performance and productivity
Assist the FP&A team for P&L and cash forecasting and the tax team for income tax estimates (both federal and SALT)
Oversee all accounting and financial reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Develops accounting organizational strategies by contributing accounting and financial information, analysis, and recommendations for strategic thinking and direction, and establishing functional objectives in line with organizational objectives
Review and support items provided to our partners (such as tax equity partners, cash equity investors, banks, insurance companies) including financial statements, due diligence items, and contract review
Manage and support our accounting system (Sage Intacct) integrations and improvements
Provide education regarding accounting procedures to ForeFront Power employees and also insight to our parent company around accounting treatments

10+ years of experience in accounting
Extremely proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
Proficient in ERP systems; Sage Intacct experience preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, Master's degree is a plus
Excellent leadership and people management skills
Demonstrated competence in financial reporting and internal controls, development of financial and budget planning models, and benchmarking tools
CPA preferred, but not required
Thorough understanding of US GAAP (especially hypothetical liquidation at book value (HLBV) method under partnership structure) and IFRS (for both US GAAP and IFRS, revenue recognition, lease, SaaS, and equity accounting, consolidation, derivative, business combination and others)
Renewable energy and/or infrastructure finance experience (especially transactions with tax equity investors)
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and collaboration skills with a proven track record of building effective relationships across functional areas and with external partners
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Demonstrated analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex data for a variety of audiences
Solid experience coordinating audit activities and managing reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and accounting for fixed assets and investments
Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentially
