The Plumbing Technician works with minimal supervision to provide plumbing services to residential and commercial clients. Partnering with the Plumbing Manager and Dispatch, the technician prepares trucks, tools, and paperwork to service customers promptly and professionally while maintaining a strong focus on safety and proper PPE use.
- Perform plumbing work as assigned
- Provide outstanding customer service while performing plumbing jobs
- Act as subject matter expert and liaison for customers
- Attend and participate in monthly safety team meetings
- Prepare each service job to maximize efficiency (truck, tools, etc.)
- Complete and submit service paperwork to management promptly
- Respond to trouble/emergency calls in a timely manner
- Follow all Wind River Environmental service protocols
- Follow safety rules and exercise safe work practices
- Read and interpret company policies, safety rules, operating manuals, maps, and road signs
- Communicate effectively with customers, co‑workers, and management

The role requires 5+ years of commercial and residential plumbing experience, a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record, and the ability to pass DOT drug screens, medical certification, physical exams, and road exams. The technician must be available for overtime, weekends, holidays, and on‑call rotations, comply with FMCSA and DOT regulations, and consistently practice safe work methods in a drug‑free workplace.
- Understand instructions in written, oral, or diagram form
- Work independently and manage pressure to meet deadlines
- Use basic computer skills including email and internet
- Perform basic math functions
- 5+ years of commercial and residential plumbing experience
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Pass DOT drug screen, medical certification, physical exam, and road exams
- Availability for overtime, weekends, holidays, and on‑call rotations
- Compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations and safe work practices
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
