Cleaning Services Manager

Description

• Following Occupational Health Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
• Leading and inspiring team members to deliver superior guest experiences;
• Develop and maintain excellent customer relations with the client.
• Responding to general cleaning, periodical, preventative and emergency incidents or queries.
• Meet and exceed contract cleaning requirements.
• Performing administrative functions, such as incident reporting, assisting with staff rosters, etc;
• Managing a cleaning team
• Provide effective leadership to cleaning personnel, including mentoring and training.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to multi-task, be flexible and work under pressure.
• Ability to give direction and instruction to people.
• Strong understanding of hard floor cleaning practices and related machinery
• Good administrative skills and is proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and other computer applications;
• A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in retail/commercial cleaning
• Knowledge of cleaning practices, including infection control.
• Previous experience managing a team
• Consistent attention to detail.
• Understand customer’s security, environmental and safety requirements.
