Key responsibilities include leading regional problem‑solving engagements, cascading strategic goals from leadership to individual contributors, and serving as a liaison between regional leaders and stakeholders. The role also champions continuous improvement, mitigates risks, and coaches Lean Practitioners, Process Owners and other leaders.
The practitioner aligns with the global Lean program and supports regional roll‑outs, implementing process improvement methodologies and tools. They lead improvement projects that match business strategies, conduct Lean training for all personnel, and manage root‑cause analysis to recommend technology and business solutions.
Improvement delivery is executed in partnership with local leadership, while mentoring other project leaders to accelerate results. The role identifies key process improvement opportunities, facilitates workshops such as Obeya rooms, value‑stream mapping, Kaizen events, and daily work installations, and introduces new continuous‑improvement techniques across the team.
The Lean Practitioner supports Lean implementation at the team level, facilitating problem‑solving, standard work and continuous improvement. Working closely with Lean Leaders, they act as the engine of continuous improvement, identifying inefficiencies and contributing to a Lean culture.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Business, Quality, Engineering or a related field and have at least five years of continuous‑improvement experience. Proven leadership in business transformation, strong communication and presentation skills, analytical and systems‑thinking abilities, and experience coaching Lean and Six Sigma are required.
The position requires travel between 25 % and 50 % of the time to support regional initiatives.
