Foster strong stakeholder relationships to drive successful outcomes
Drive innovation and continuous improvement in bid approaches, processes, and technology
Support prioritisation discussions and business readiness assessments for major pursuits in target markets
Develop and embed a process to analyse bid outcomes and implement lessons learned
Participate in gate reviews to ensure best practices are being adopted and advise on corrective actions where required
Oversee the creation of client-focused proposals, manage pricing and commercial models to achieve profitability targets
Lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute winning bid strategies, ensuring clear roles, robust governance, and compliance throughout the process
Provide thought leadership on competitive positioning aligned to specific opportunities
Shape and develop differentiated value propositions tailored to client challenges and market demands
Work with Global Market Leads and KAMs to develop robust plans for major pursuits
Ensure the latest tools and technology are being fully utilized in major pursuits
Work with marketing and practices to ensure propositions are insight-driven and commercially compelling
Ensure risk mitigation, adherence to legal and contractual requirements at all times
Provide independent challenge and advice to regionally led major bids
Act as the primary liaison and key contact for senior leadership and clients
Develop and manage a value propositions repository (or similar) to provide quick access to bid and client teams
Establish a best practice framework and methodology for delivering high value, complex bids
Oversee and guide the scaling of propositions beyond regional boundaries to maximize impact and returns
Develop and implement a bid readiness assessment to drive early activity and optimal positioning
Mentor and develop major bid teams in regions
