Cost Engineer

Overview

Manage cost analysis, EVM reporting and H&S compliance for pipeline design projects.

Tasks

-Maintain H&S standards to enable a zero-accident culture. -Liaising with Partners to ensure People Recruitment process has been followed with approving CTE/submitting CTEs/Uploads to SAP (AW Cost System) -Monitor and maintain compliance with the Working Time Directive. -Organising meeting with Functional Leads to review revised forecasting across programme -Take ownership over the data entry and analysis. Collating data from different Client/Partner systems and processes. -Working with Design Managers to identify change across projects. -Drive a culture of continuous improvement in Health & Safety (H&S), ensuring consistent H&S standards are maintained. -Actively work with your team, line manager and the H&S Team to improve upon H&S procedures where possible. -Weekly/Monthly Cost Analysis to support EVM reporting (specifically design) -Support with writing Change Control Forms for design team -Assist with developing a new EVM reporting process for Amp8 delivery. Working closely with PMO team -Report all near misses through the appropriate channel to prevent future accidents. -Managing any error reports, ie change in rates, unapproved resources, incorrect hours, etc -Supporting Design Team with detailed EVM analysis to control account level -Ensure adherence to safe working practices including completing audits in line with schedule. -Running timesheet reports on weekly basis for Functional Teams -Working with People Team to report on FTE, recruitment needs -Ensure completion of a full Induction to H&S in accordance with Company policies, procedures, standards &/or guidance. -Ensure you are compliant with the use of mandatory safety monitoring equipment, near miss reporting and compliance with the company procedures.
