Facilitates cross-functional collaboration to drive accountability and support data governance initiatives
Establishes data standards and definitions to ensure consistency, accuracy, and high trust data
Ensures alignment with regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and organizational objectives

Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams to drive alignment and deliver results
Exposure to Collibra and Databricks; experience with Collibra workflows and modules preferred
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to proactively identify and resolve data governance issues
This is a hybrid position, most work can take place remotely, with the understanding that there will be in person office attendance as business needs require
Proven experience developing and deploying data governance programs
Certifications in data management or governance (e.g., CDMP, DGSP) considered an asset
Minimum 6 years of experience in data governance, with supporting experience in business intelligence and data analysis
Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and decision-making skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess, quantify, and escalate risks related to data governance or non-compliance
Experience with metadata standards and frameworks to support data discovery and lineage tracking
Strong expertise in designing and implementing data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures
Exceptional stakeholder management, attention to detail, sense of urgency, and commitment to deadlines
