The Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician leads service technicians in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. The role supports the Operations Maintenance Team by designing solutions for complex problems, managing projects, and training both service and contract technicians.
- Promote safety by following all safety procedures.
- Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems, relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors, motor starters, solenoids, etc.
- Create, assign, and close work orders with labor, maintenance, and parts data.
- Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures; mentor junior technicians.
- Maintain positive relationships across the Operations facility.

Physical demands include reaching overhead, kneeling, squatting, climbing ladders, using aerial lifts, and lifting up to 50 lb. The work environment varies in temperature, requires PPE, and involves moving between departments and covering 6‑12 miles daily.
- High school diploma or equivalent; 4+ years experience with material handling equipment, preventative maintenance, and blueprint reading.
- 3+ years experience with a CMMS; 2+ years with PLC programming.
- Experience leading, training, and mentoring technicians; vendor management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project; ability to create and manage documents.
- Preferred: Associate’s or higher degree in Mechanical/Electrical field; experience with robotic operation and maintenance.
- Ability to perform physical tasks: reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb ladders, lift up to 50 lb, wear PPE, work in variable temperatures, travel 6‑12 miles daily.
