Provide Commercial & Industrial program management oversight over scope, schedule and budget of energy efficiency projects in compliance with the BPU Order and PSEG procedures. Ensure projects meet all program requirements, including project scope and cost effectiveness. Incumbent will need to be familiar with residential and commercial energy efficiency program incentive structures.

  • Perform and oversee program and project QA/QC as required
  • Review vendor deliverables.
  • Apply knowledge in energy savings measures and techniques to program and project oversight.
  • Compile and analyze data from various projects / sources to monitor the status of customer projects and report to management.
  • Develop and manage the processes for implementing energy efficiency projects and programs in accordance with requirements for Engineered Solutions and other BPU approved programs.
  • Perform project site visits as required
  • Projects may include the installation of various energy conservation measures (ECMs) such as HVAC, lighting, motors, energy management systems, etc., as appropriate for the program.
  • Analyze performance results for management reports; Provide monthly project status forecasts;
  • Interface with PSEG associates, vendors, customers and outside consultants to assure the Program rules and requirements are maintained, the projects are cost effective and the information needed for management and regulatory reporting is accurate and timely.
  • Coordinate and direct the activities of vendors and contractors.
  • Monitor vendor performance, and review/process vendor invoices.
  • Manage customer relationships to provide program services with a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Work independently while maintaining and applying working knowledge of PSEG Standards of Business Controls and meet management’s expectations for effective internal business controls.

  • In lieu of a degree, 9 years of experience in the space of energy efficiency programs, construction, vendor management, project management or related fields.
  • PE / EIT
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Utility Industry Vendor management, invoicing skills.
  • Valid US driver's license
  • Department of Energy’s regulation 10 CFR 810 is required
  • Knowledge of Commercial & Industrial Energy Efficiency programs.
  • Knowledge of PSEG’s CEF energy efficiency order and related frameworks such as the NJ Cost Test Able to travel within PSE&G territory to conduct meetings with customers, perform inspections, and manage relationships with contractors.
  • B.S. Degree plus 5 years of experience in the space of energy efficiency programs, construction, vendor management, project management or related fields.
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills (oral and written).
  • Experience processing milestone based construction payments and forecasting financial spend.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel & MS Word).
  • Knowledge of energy efficiency measures, implementation, and cost.
