- Develops clear work instructions pertaining to the investment casting process and works with manufacturing on any improvements to instructions.
- Investigates dimensional issues within the investment casting process, adjusts the process if needed, and creates in process verifications.
- Works closely with Product Engineers and Senior Product engineers for support and gains knowledge about dimensional control within the casting process.
- Operate equipment and performs some manufacturing operations including but not limited to wax assembly, injection, sandblast, grinding, or knockout to determine the best process and to expedite engineering parts.
- Works with manufacturing while assisting the Engineering team in the production of castings.

- Demonstrated mechanical skills, and knowledge of or interest in industrial machinery.
- Ability to read Engineering instructions, work with mathematical concepts and computer literate.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
- Learns and utilizes basic engineering principles and creativity as necessary to develop and improve processes that result in the production of quality castings that conform to customer specifications and timetables.
- Evidence of a High school Diploma or GED is required and currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Engineering program at the University level. Concentrations must be in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial or Chemical engineering.
- This position will require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security, and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for this position. The candidate must be able to work with export-controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.
