Develops clear work instructions pertaining to the investment casting process and works with manufacturing on any improvements to instructions.
Investigates dimensional issues within the investment casting process, adjusts the process if needed, and creates in process verifications.
Works closely with Product Engineers and Senior Product engineers for support and gains knowledge about dimensional control within the casting process.
Operate equipment and performs some manufacturing operations including but not limited to wax assembly, injection, sandblast, grinding, or knockout to determine the best process and to expedite engineering parts.
Works with manufacturing while assisting the Engineering team in the production of castings.

Demonstrated mechanical skills, and knowledge of or interest in industrial machinery.
Ability to read Engineering instructions, work with mathematical concepts and computer literate.
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
Learns and utilizes basic engineering principles and creativity as necessary to develop and improve processes that result in the production of quality castings that conform to customer specifications and timetables.
Evidence of a High school Diploma or GED is required and currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Engineering program at the University level. Concentrations must be in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial or Chemical engineering.
This position will require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security, and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for this position. The candidate must be able to work with export-controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.
