Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, adopting best practices to enhance engineering quality and project deliverables.
Technical Leadership: Lead complex process design efforts, applying advanced engineering concepts to develop process systems for food and beverage applications.
Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, clients, and internal teams to ensure project goals are aligned and executed successfully.
Project Execution: Execute the full scope of project work, including design, budgeting, implementation, procurement, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of processing systems.
Commissioning and Support: Provide support for on-site commissioning, troubleshooting, and operational optimization to ensure system performance meets design specifications.
Documentation & Reporting: Develop technical documentation, including equipment lists, flow diagrams, and process narratives.
Physical Demands: Regular use of hands, standing, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. Exposure to variable conditions during site visits.
Experience: Demonstrated experience in detailed process design for food and beverage processing lines.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Outlook, MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, and AutoCAD.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis on process systems.
Licenses: Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred; PE license is a plus.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and customers.
Travel Requirements: Travel required for site audits, installations, and customer meetings as per project needs.
