AV Project Design Manager

Design/develop all drawings, in Revit or AutoCAD, to share with architects/engineers for:
Design/develop IDF and MDF layout and rack elevations

Develop material budgets at SD/DD/CD phases
Bring forth new products and technology for Client’s consideration
Responsible for managing the installation of (AV) and related IT/tech systems to comply with project specifications and a tele-communications client standards, and to ensure that a completed system is delivered to the customer.
Drive adherence to client standards for AV projects development and design
Test and troubleshoot audiovisual systems
Comply with all safety procedures and C&W / client related safety policies.
Establishes and manages a schedule of projects and provides to leadership regular reporting on state, progress, budgeting, and completion dates
Develop Bill of Materials
Manage infrastructure projects and system development, related procurement tasking, and installations enhancements related to the client’s space planning and AV infrastructure.
Could administrator client database of configuration, design, and components for all AV spaces
The role will manage multiple project schedules and necessary resources, including but not limited to: AV installation technicians, control systems programmers, engineers, and contracted vendors/contractors.
Maintain Client standards and ensure Client Guidelines website is up to date
Gathers requirements, standardizes, and maintains AV designs and programs, oversees deployment, and enhances the Audio-Visual infrastructure for all client assigned spaces, ensuring their quality, stability, recoverability, and security
Coordinates the tasks and flow of the project, including design, purchasing, installation, programing, testing, and communication with vendors and all involved parties
Works closely with network architects, other IT teams, and external customers to design infrastructure systems, enhance network infrastructure, and conducts frequent functional audits to prevent downtimes, system failures and ensure future growth of infrastructure systems.

Trains and mentors AV system engineers, support technicians, and other staff as needed

Able to design, analyze, evaluate, and implement complex Audio-Visual systems and solutions to meet clients objectives, KPIs, and budget.
Strong negotiation and communications skills for presentation + use of data analytics for apt story telling of the project directive and tracking.
Possesses and maintains extensive industry knowledge of enterprise audio visual system design.
