Care Associate - Assisted Living

Description

The role involves assisting residents in the Assisted Living Program with activities of daily living such as medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, and escort services. You will follow each resident’s schedule, document daily assistance, and provide emotional and social support while respecting confidentiality and encouraging independence.

• Assist residents with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, and escort services.
• Follow each resident’s individualized schedule set by the supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support to enhance resident well‑being.
• Document daily assistance and log activities accurately.
• Notify supervisor of any resident issues or concerns promptly.
• Respect and promote resident independence, dignity, and confidentiality.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of experience in senior care.
• Proficient English communication for routine duties and emergencies.
• Basic computer skills.
• Compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic, and helpful demeanor.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and manage multiple tasks safely.
• Capability to make independent decisions when needed.
• Strong problem‑solving skills in high‑stress situations.
