We are seeking a highly skilled OSP Engineer to support copper and fiber outside‑plant facility projects. The role involves estimating, analyzing, designing, and planning OSP projects while tracking budgets and ensuring compliance with company and industry standards. The engineer will also coordinate with municipal agencies, contractors, and utilities to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
The position requires strong field and design experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to balance technical work with permitting, reporting, and cross‑team collaboration.
Candidates must have 3–5+ years of copper and fiber‑optic telecommunications engineering experience and at least 5 years in network engineering or a related field, with solid knowledge of fiber record management, cable counts, and permitting. Proficiency with FROGS, CAD, Frontier mapping, and related design tools is essential, as is the ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with municipal officials, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
Applicants must reside within one hour of the listed cities in Kentucky, West Virginia, or Ohio and be able to travel as needed for project meetings, inspections, and surveys.
Base pay ranges from $37–$38 USD, supplemented by performance and referral bonuses, production incentives, tool/equipment and fuel stipends, a company vehicle, per diem, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, HSA option, paid vacation and holidays, a 401(k) with employer match, tuition reimbursement, and professional development training.
