Description

• Develop competitive fee structures aligned with project scope.
• Establish and manage project schedules.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Anticipate and manage client expectations.
• Lead staff by defining roles, leveraging strengths, providing mentorship and stretch opportunities.
• Facilitate open dialogue on design and technical ideas and guide solutions.
• Motivate the team to achieve project goals and adjust course as needed.
• Oversee construction phase documentation, including shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, and addenda.
• Present technical solutions to stakeholders.
• Coordinate internal staff, external consultants, and other stakeholders for cohesive teamwork.
• Deliver presentations to clients and project teams.
• Identify new business opportunities through professional networks.
• Drive innovation in design solutions and continuous improvement.
• Create project directives, outlines, schedules, and strategies.
• Develop and communicate project phasing plans.
• Manage all aspects of project production to produce comprehensive documentation.
• Resolve technical challenges efficiently.
• Apply industry standards and construction practices.
• Document regulatory requirements and resolve code‑related design issues.
• Implement quality assurance and quality control processes for project documents.
• Share and apply new methodologies, practices, codes, and products.
• Maintain awareness of emerging industry standards and incorporate them appropriately.
• Manage client relationships.
• Research and document codes for specific projects.
• Efficiently coordinate project deliverables and client expectations.

Requirements

• Hold a degree from an NAAB‑accredited program or equivalent.
• Possess 10+ years of architectural experience, including 5+ years in K‑12 education design.
• Hold professional registration.
• Demonstrate high commitment to QA/QC.
• Be hands‑on and able to produce deliverables when needed.
• Experience managing consultants and contractors.
• Proficient in managing project fees and schedules.
• Confident presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
