Providing technical guidance and support to surveying staff.
Monitoring project budgets and timelines to ensure efficiency and profitability.
Preparation of easement and right-of-way legal descriptions and plats.
Legal work - Provide law firms, title companies, and cities technical expertise in the review of defective title, reformation of deeds, expert witness.
Lot Line Adjustment & Lot Merger document checking.
Subdivision and Parcel Map Checking.
Coordinate subconsultant field and office survey work.
Work with various divisions (engineers and architects) within Willdan to provide necessary services, such as boundary and topographic surveys, aerial photogrammetry, airborne lidar, terrestrial scanning, preparation of legal descriptions and plat maps, coordination of appraisal and acquisition services.

Prior experience serving as a City or County Surveyor is strongly preferred.
Background in subdivision mapping (major and minor) and subdivision processes, including demonstrated experience with preparation and review of subdivision maps, parcel maps, legal descriptions, lot line adjustments and lot mergers, right-of-way engineering, easements, records of survey, corner records, ALTA/NSPS surveys, boundary and topographic surveys, and design surveys.
Active California Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license.
At least 10 years of progressive professional land surveying experience.
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university, or equivalent work experience.
Ability to respond to questions and recommend appropriate administration of the Subdivision Map Act and Professional Land Surveyor’s Act.
