Interns will support project managers and field leads on wetland delineations, wildlife and botanical surveys, and compliance monitoring, while also handling office tasks such as data clean‑up and reporting for the Natural Resources team.
The role may require 50‑75 % fieldwork, including long hikes, equipment loads up to 40 lb, and work in all weather conditions, following SWCA’s safety program and promptly addressing hazards.
Applicants should be current juniors or seniors (or recent graduates) pursuing a bachelor's degree in an environmental‑related field, must be Massachusetts residents or students, and possess experience with natural‑resources fieldwork and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
