RTG Construction Senior Project Manager (Spartanburg, SC)

Description

• Provide project management services.
• Negotiate project delivery team agreements.
• Assist in Business Development.
• Deliver client Board level presentations.
• Procure a project delivery team.
• Attend client executive level meetings.
• Develop recovery strategies for project requiring "rescue."
• Develop project schedules.
• Oversee Assistant Project Managers and Project Managers.
• Develop project budgets.
• Develop and implement project delivery strategies.
• Manage issue resolution process.
• Develop and maintain a professional network.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of project management experience (including construction or design), preferably in health care real estate/construction.
• Experience/competence with various software programs, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, PlanGrid, PMWeb, InDesign, or other similar programs.
• Ability to work both independently and within a professional team environment.
• Timely decision-maker.
• Client / Project Work – 70%
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Building Construction, Business (or related field) OR comparable demonstrated ability and experience in healthcare/commercial/institutional/ office construction. Project Management Institute's Requirements for the Project Management Professional.
• Have intermediate to advanced knowledge of building systems.
• Strong communicator.
• Able to accept constructive criticism.
• Be able to read and interpret building plans.
• Problem solver.
