Standardize a uniform investigation methodology and deploy it across the business
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed HOP principles into daily operations and promote a risk management-focused mindset
Design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Management Systems (e.g., ISO, ANSI)
Track and ensure quality investigations are conducted in accordance with RWECE policy
Encourage collaboration among teams to identify trends and recommend improvements
Create and implement frameworks for effective learning from incidents, everyday work experiences, and other HSSE-related events
Utilize RWECE’s Safety Critical Information process to disseminate and share learnings throughout the organization
Facilitate the creation and management of Learning Teams to enhance collective knowledge-sharing and problem-solving capabilities
Lead and oversee HSSE investigations to ensure thorough analysis and accurate reporting of incidents
Develop and oversee strategies for organizational learning that promote continual improvement in HSSE performance
Design, develop, implement, and maintain Serious Injury and Fatality (SIF) and Potential Serious Injury and Fatality (PSIF) programs
Utilize findings from investigations to drive organizational learning and reduce risk
Implementation and management of Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Ensure investigations have competent, assigned, cross-functional team members
Provide training and support to ensure understanding and adherence to program objectives across the organization
Design, implementation, and continual improvement of HSSE Management Systems (e.g., ANSI Z10, ISO 45001)
Implement processes and trainings such as the Energy Wheel, High-Energy Hazards and Direct Controls, and High-Energy Control Assessments to reduce the likelihood of a serious injury or fatalities (SIFs)
Integrate and champion Human and Organizational Performance (HOP) principles within the organization
Design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Learning Management Systems (LMS)

Extensive Training Administration experience
Minimum 7 years’ experience in North American energy, manufacturing, military, or similar field
Independent problem-solving skills and ability to influence stakeholders in order to gain a desired result
Extensive experience with Microsoft 365 (i.e., Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, etc.)
Detail-oriented and consistently striving for high-quality results
Ability to work independently, collaboratively via technology, as well as in-person at various locations across the North American regions
Strong experience with Tableau, Power BI, and Azure
Demonstrated competency in the HSSE management discipline, particularly with administrative law, ‘IBR’ standards, and consensus standards related to HSSE
Strong initiative and self-confidence to find solutions and solve problems independently
Skills in preparing and presenting concise and accurate information to executive leadership, internal and external customers, stakeholders, etc., across the organization

Extensive Project Management experience
Demonstrated competency in Project Management
Microsoft 365, Visio, Excel, Tableau, and Power BI
Mathematical/statistical knowledge and affinity to work with numbers/statistics regularly
Responds well to direction, is easy to challenge and develop, and is coachable
Demonstrated competency in leading and training personnel on how to conduct learning teams
Knowledge and integration of Human and Organizational Performance
Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) preferred
Ability to travel up to 25%
Proven ability to empathize, build relationships, and effectively communicate with people from a diverse set of backgrounds
Extensive experience in conducting incident investigations with a focus on organizational learning
Minimum 7 years’ experience in the field of Occupational Safety and Health or a closely related field
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
Reliable and systematic manner of working, customer orientation, resilience, and being able to work centrally while managing multiple stakeholder expectations
