The Role

Overview

Operate production line, run machinery, ensure quality, handle materials & shipments.

Tasks

-Entering waste, downtime data into system -Inspecting raw material and finish products per quality specifications -Conducting quality checks at regular intervals -Operating manufacturing equipment in accordance with standard work instructions -Adhering to safety policies, programs, procedures -Document production numbers, items contributing to down-time (using computerized system called PRODAC, as well as hand-written production reports)

What You Bring

-Must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces -Required to work rotational shifts. -Manual Dexterity and Attention to detail -Comfortable with standing for extended periods of time -Must be able to walk and/or stand 90% of the shift -Ability to follow direction and specific instructions -Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds on a routine basis -Minimum 1 year of proven forklift operating experience preferred -Operating counterbalance, propane-powered forklift -Good communication skills; Fluent in English - Reading, Writing and Speaking -Minimum 2 years’ experience in heavy-industrial manufacturing or construction industry preferred
