The company is hiring a Construction Area Manager to supervise General Superintendents, Superintendents and Project Managers across assigned communities. The manager will enforce company policies, update reports, and ensure quality control throughout the construction process.
Key duties include planning and directing field construction activities, establishing build schedules, and maintaining profitability by reviewing purchase orders. The manager will train and develop field personnel, oversee production times, guarantee homes meet company standards and safety regulations, and handle escalated subcontractor issues. Site visits will be conducted to enforce quality, policy, and code compliance, and interaction with public agencies may be required for permits and approvals.
Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, at least seven years of related construction experience, and a valid driver’s license with a vehicle. Required skills include strong construction knowledge, ability to read drawings and specifications, cost‑control, and proficiency with DRH construction applications, MS Office, and basic lifting up to 50 lb. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication abilities and the capacity to work under high‑pressure production environments are essential.
A bachelor’s degree, bilingual English/Spanish skills, and experience in high‑pressure environments are preferred. D.R.
